East Wick Proposals

A Welcoming Neighbourhood

East Wick is planned as a neighbourhood with approximately 900 homes. It will deliver a range of new homes for families, smaller households, co-living and people downsizing. Our design embraces the legacy of the park as well as looking forward to its future, has spaces for play, architectural areas of interest and beauty as well as local community amenities open to all.

The new neighbourhood will include:

  • Family-sized homes with three or more bedrooms (to deliver a LCS site-wide target of 42% family-sized homes across the development) .
  • Affordable homes (at least 30%).
  • Market sale and private rented homes.
  • The formation of a new eastern edge to the Hackney Wick neighbourhood centre, with shops, employment spaces, and a nursery clustered around Copper Street, adjoining the new Mossbourne Riverside Primary School.
  • Character Areas within the DevelopmentThe Park Gateway
